Friends of Delaware Water Gap National The Peters House and Garage/Annex in Bushkill PA has had the exterior painted and restored in 2020 with financial help from the Friends in partnership with the Park.
At the end of every summer, the Friends help DWGNRA host the park's annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.
In addition to staffing the park's annual Family Fun Day, the Friends help organize a variety of events. 2018's Family Fun Day included a live raptor presentation and shad fishing demonstration.
After an intensive three-year restoration process, Childs Park was re-opened to the public in 2013. Friends funding helped to rehabilitate well-worn footpaths, as well as the scenic bridges spanning the river.
